Sometimes I laugh at how silly the notion of food bogging is and the time and effort we put into this very odd hobby. For me,it's a visual journal and sharing of what I love to do, nothing more, but as a perfectionist I like to do this the best I can. I invest in the perfect hob nail cocktail glasses, which make me happy all on their own, and little vintage feed back napkins. At first I thought I would sew with them, but more and more they navigated away from my sewing pile to the prop pile, but nothing ever WORKED. They were too busy to not create a clash or too much distraction.

Hello, perfect cocktail for this napkin. The bright yellow and fresh thyme combined with the hobnail glass just worked. I was like, hmm yup. That'll do. It's funny how much creative satisfaction something so simple can give. A little vintage inspiration, and a twist on a vintage cocktail, the gold-rush. Here I've made it a bit fresher, and a bit zestier and lighter. Great for a summer afternoon.
